To help remove these stains more quickly, you can use a saltwater slurry (similar to sugar scrub consistency), apply hydrogen peroxide with a cotton ball, or use hair dye remover. After the SDF application, avoid eating for 30 minutes to maximize its effectiveness.

For the ongoing effects of SDF, it is necessary to reapply it every 6 months until fillings or crowns can be completed.
