If your child has braces and once they have been removed, we'll conduct a full mouth series to evaluate for cavities and bone quality. We'll capture another panoramic image to assess the development of jaw structures and positioning of wisdom teeth during this age group.

Rinse with warm salt water: Gently rinse the affected area with warm salt water to help reduce irritation and clean the area.
Apply a cold compress: If your child’s face is swollen, use a cold compress to reduce swelling and numb the area for relief.
Use Tylenol for pain relief: Give your child Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain relief, instead of placing aspirin on the tooth or gums, which can cause irritation.

What to Do If Your Child Knocked Out an Adult Tooth: Emergency Care Tips
If your child knocks out an adult tooth, quick action can significantly improve the chances of saving it. Follow these essential steps:
Contact Tiny Tooth Co. immediately: Call us as soon as possible for emergency dental care. The sooner your child is seen by a dentist, the higher the likelihood of saving the tooth.
Handle the tooth carefully: Hold the tooth by the crown (the chewing surface), avoiding touching the root to prevent damaging delicate tissue.
